Renato Berti lived and worked in Italy and France. From about 1910 to 1938, he resided in Paris, where he joined the Societé Nationale des Beaux-Arts in 1923.
He exhibited in Naples, where he won a medal and in Rome. But he also participated in many exhibitions in France: in Deauville, Douai, Neuilly and of course in Paris, his second hometown, where he exhibited in the salons of the Societé Nationale des Beaux-Arts from 1911 to 1938.
In 1938, he returned to Italy, where he died the following year in Vicenza (near Venice).
