Albert Hubert (Austrian, 1878 - 20th century) , a painter of landscapes and still lifes, was self-taught. His travels to Italy, Spain, Scandinavia and the West Indies allowed him to develop his talent. Eventually, he settled in Berlin. In the summer of 1911, he exhibited there at the Schulte Gallery, among others.
