The sculptor Émile André Leroy (French, 1899 - 1953) was born in 1899 in Saint-Armand-Montrond.
He was a pupil of Jean Boucher (1870 - 1939), a French sculptor from Brittany.
Leroy participated in exhibitions in Paris including the Salon des Artistes Français where he was awarded a bronze medal in 1927.
Works by him can be found in the collection of the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris
